　　石溪大学对那些在学习或研究领域表现杰出的学生，都会提供奖学金支持。有些奖学金是不需要学生专门提出申请，只要学生的平均成绩达到3.75以上，具备一定的领导能力，或是参加过公共社会服务工作，有创造性，校方会自动考虑学生的奖学金事宜;还有一些奖学金则要求学生提交相关的个人陈述及推荐信，以证明申请人的特殊能力。石溪大学每年为优秀的中国学生提供10个杨振宁奖学金名额，其中，中教国际推荐的50名学生有10%将被授予每年5,000美金的奖学金(杨振宁奖学金获得者，只要每年学习成绩和综合考评达到学校要求，可连续每学年优先享有此奖学金)。

　　1、给予新生的优秀奖学金项目包括：Honors College Scholarships、INTEL Science Talent Search National Finalists and Semifinalists、National Merit Scholarships、Presidential and Provost's Out-of-State Scholarships、Valedictorian and Salutatorian Scholarships、WISE - Women In Science and Engineering。

　　Stony Brook Alumni Association Scholarships

　　The Alumni Association is sponsoring eight awards to students who have excelled in different areas, including academics, leadership, and the improvement of community life.

　　Recipients will receive a cash award and will be recognized at the Undergraduate Recognition Awards Ceremony on May 2 and the Alumni Association Scholarship Golf Classic dinner on June 20.
