Title: A change in our telephone system

The eagerly awaited new telephone system is going to be installed this weekend and is going to be in use from Tuesday morning onwards. All employees will still have access to voice mail, which is going to be helpful for customers to leave messages for you when you are not available to deal with their calls. For those of you who prefer to have your calls put through a switch board first, you can continue to use this service. In this case the operator will take all messages for you. As an added advantage, all telephones inside and outside of conference rooms will be able to deal with both conference and long distance calls. Your employee code will still need to be logged in whenever you want to call long distance. Should you require to make a conference call, notify an operator and they will be glad to arrange one for you. Please notify an operator at least 40 minutes before you need to make the call.

If you wish to know more about the system or need to ask any questions, please come to the main conference room at any time on Monday morning. It is advisable for all employees to attend this introductory session if you are going to be using the telephone system frequently.
